Locked in My Palm

A meditation on pain, truth, and silence. Here, light and dark collide to illuminate the struggle of carrying a heavy truth. It is a poem about being anchored to the earth by what we know, while a thousand unuttered words dance quietly in the palm of our hands.

A lighted image from the darker side

A lighted image from the darker side
with my tears that I could never hide

Has put my veins in the ground
rooted with the truth that I had found

In a burning shadow, dancing so calm
to a thousand words locked in my palm
