An ordinary Faith

A fleeting memory caught in slow motion. It is the sound of calm steps walking away and the echo of helpless cries, illuminated by the diamonds of light that shine through the only faith we have left. This poem is a landscape of shadows seen clearly only when we are moving forward.

An ordinary Faith
A blur of light far
away in a moving window
with the breeze of
the turning pages
sounds of calm steps
walking away from me
the helpless cries
that reached so high above
and yet beneath me
together with the
diamonds that shine through
the only strand of faith left in me
paved this ordinary
path with the sorrow that is locked away
weeping in a shadow
still dancing in the moving window
